Class 108, M54253 at Southport.št. ogledov:5A derby built Class 108 2-car DMU is stabled between duties in Southport carriage sidings on the 10th July 1988. M54253 was a Driving Trailer Composite when built, but had been downgraded to all second class in the 1970s. Most of the railway infrastructure behind the DMU has now been swept away. Visible are the toilet blocks on the disused excursion platforms, the coal depot, the loco shed, and the stable blocks for the former goods yard. Viva & Marina British Rail vans are parked in the yard.

HST Power Car W43025 at Bristol Temple Meads.št. ogledov:8HST power car W43025 brings up the rear of service bound for London Paddington at Bristol Temple Meads on the 25th October 1980. Still carrying its original well designed livery, blending the Mark 3 trailers with the power car, W43025 was only four years old when this image was recorded. 31 years later the power car is still earning its keep for First Great Western plying the routes from London Paddington - one can only guess what mileage this machine must have accumulated since its introduction in 1976.
