150272 at St Annes-On-The-Sea.skoðað 0 sinnumIn newly applied Northern Rail livery, Class 150/2 150272 calls at St Annes-On-The-Sea whilst working from Blackpool South to Colne on the 21st June 2007. The 'Coast' line from Kirkham to Blackpool South was singled in the 1980s and has just the basic facilities, although the rebuilt station here at St Annes is staffed. How was the original station that stood on both sides of the line here with its lengthy ornate iron & glass platform canopies, allowed to be destroyed by the powers that be?

142011 at Farington Curve Junction.skoðað 0 sinnumWith the Hawthorn Blossom in full bloom, 142011 in Greater Manchester/Regional Railways livery, traverses the first few yards of the Ormskirk Line at Farington Curve Junction whilst working the 10.16 Preston to Ormskirk on the 19th May 1998. Altough the unit still carried the British Rail Regional Railways branding, it was actually being operated by First North Western.

142010 at Nelson.skoðað 0 sinnumA well-worn looking 142010 in Greater Manchester/Regional Railways livery, stands at Nelson with the 11.15 Colne to Blackpool South service on March 18th 2000. The former L&Y iron & glass island platform canopy is a rare survivor. Despite appearances the route was reduced to single track from Gannow Junction to Colne in 1986 and consequently only one face of the platform sees trains.
