142031 arrives at Morecambe Promenade.skoðað 2 sinnum With only six months before closure, Rusty Rails and disused tracks greet 142031 at Morecambe Promenade Station as it approaches journeys end with the 15.51 from Lancaster on the 31st July 1992. The former Midland Railway sea-front terminus was opened in March 1907 and closed in February 1994.

142047 at Wrea Green.skoðað 0 sinnumWith its Merseyrail livery complimenting the Oil Seed Rape, 142047 runs between Wrea Green and Kirkham whilst working the 17.53 Blackpool South to Colne on May 3rd 2006. The spire of St Nicholas Church at Wrea Green is visible in the background.

Goxhill.skoðað 0 sinnumThe former Great Central Railway signalbox at Goxhill stands guard over the level crossing on Howe Lane. The timber crossing gates, semaphore signals and cast iron notice all give an atmosphere of a heritage railway rather than Network Rail. 29th August 2014.

DRS 20308 passes Goxhill.skoðað 0 sinnumBringing the rare sight of a locomotive hauled train along the line from Ulceby to Barton-On-Humber, DRS 20308 is the lead locomotive passing Goxhill on the Pathfinder Tours 'The Trent Almighty' from Crewe via Cleethorpes on Saturday 6th September 2014.

Class 305, 305507 at Hadfield.skoðað 0 sinnum305507 stands at the end of the line at Hadfield on February 28th 1992. The unit was waiting for the return trip back to Manchester Piccadilly via Glossop. Until July 1981 Hadfield was a through station on the Manchester to Sheffield 'Woodhead' route. Always the eastern limit for suburban services from Manchester, beyond the stop block at the far end of platform is the abandoned track bed of what was in 1950's, the most modern main line in the UK - How the mighty fall.

SWT 73109 at Lymington Pier.skoðað 0 sinnumOn July 12th 2008 as part of the Lymington Branch 150 anniversary celebrations, South West Trains provided the unusual and colourful combination of Electro-Diesel 73109 coupled to 3-CIG 1498 in its BR green livery. After a cloudy day the sun finally broke through the clouds in the early evening. Complete with headboard the 73109 was preparing for another trip to Brockenhurst at Lymington Pier. The Wightlink Ferry to Yarmouth can be seen at its berth beyond the stop block.

EPS 37601 - Folkestone Harbour.skoðað 0 sinnumAs the tide begins to come in, 37601 sits on the viaduct at Folkestone Harbour with the Pathfinder Tours 'Atomic Harbourmaster' railtour on October 20th 2007. Out of sight at the other end of the train was fellow EPS class 37, 37603. This was one of the last diesel hauled trains to traverse this line. The itinerary on that day included a trip along the Dungeness Branch. It was a long day - an 06.15 start from Crewe on Saturday morning and only getting back to Crewe at 01.24 on Sunday morning!10. des, 2015
