Strathclyde Liveried 101691 at Romiley.1 zobrazeníWhen the Class 101s were transferred from the Glasgow area to join the Regional Railways fleet at Longsight Depot, they kept their Strathclyde Orange & Black livery as it was felt that the livery was similar to the Greater Manchester PTE Orange. Set 101691 still with Strathclyde branding departs from Romiley for the short trip to Marple with a service from Manchester Piccadilly on the 29th September 2001. The surviving 101s were working out their last days on the services to Marple and Rose Hill.

153310 arrives at Morecambe Promenade.1 zobrazeníWith the Pennines as a backdrop, 153310 looks rather lost as it arrives at a bleak looking Morecambe Promenade with the 12.03 from Lancaster on the 4th December 1993. The one remaining long platform was a relic from the busy days when thousands descended on the seaside town from the Yorkshire and Lancashire mill towns. There is a staggering amount of derelict railway land on view. This was twilight time for the former Midland Railway terminus, as it finally closed on the 7th February 1994.
